The Blasphemy Challenge

It’s been around for a while, but I was recently pointed to www.BlasphemyChallenge.com and find it to be pretty uplifting. As atheists, we often feel like we’re all alone in the world. I’m lucky to have a girlfriend who is a viciously critical thinker and atheist, along with a select few friends. But I’m sure a lot of others are, within their day-to-day lives, devoid of people who understand and share their views. That’s why I find it comforting to see the over 1,400 people who have posted their denial of God on YouTube. They may not be able to sit down and have a cup of coffee with me but they’re out there, thinking for themselves and accepting reality over fairy tales.
